Inna is a medical doctor with healthcare industry experience in the medical technology and hospital sectors.
Inna has been instrumental to establishing MECOMED’s presence and building its brand initially in the MENA region with further expansion to the Sub-Saharan Africa in 2018. The objective of the association has been developing and establishing an ethical and viable regulatory environment within the region for the MedTech industry, helping the members shape their strategy in these emerging markets. She has also supported the industry initiatives of global cooperation through the Global Medical Technology Alliance. In her current role, Inna has developed and executed strategic plans of positioning the industry as a high-level partner with the Ministries of Health and other governmental bodies in the region on strategic and policy shaping initiatives including developing regulations, ethical business practices and market access policies to ensure that the most innovative and safest technologies reach the patients of the region in a fastest and safest way.
Prior to MECOMED, Inna worked as the Chief Experience Officer in a hospital environment and in Regional Sales and Training role with a leading MedTech multinational SMITH & NEPHEW. In addition, she has several years of the entrepreneurial experience in MedTech start-ups.
Inna received a Doctor of Medicine from Kazan Medical State University in Russia and earned an MBA from Strathclyde University in UK and Master’s in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics from Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, Spain. She is an active member of ISPOR. Inna fluently speaks English, French, Russian and Italian.
