Majdi Younis is responsible for Medtronic business portfolio in Gulf taking responsibility for establishing strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), government relations and ensuring legal compliance, reimbursement and distribution strategies. Part of his role as well is partnering with other Medtronic businesses to implement market penetration strategies, identify key growth drivers and address market barriers while providing focus and business alignment with the local distributors and consultants.
Between 2004 & 2007 Majdi worked previously with Medtronic in Lebanon as a Sales Manager for Cardiac Surgery & Neuro Technologies covering Middle East & North Africa. He moved to GE Healthcare as Sales Manager for Diagnostic Imaging Service Sales to manage their indirect business in the MENA region in 2007.
Two years later, a career opportunity opened that led him to move to Molnlycke Healthcare in UAE as Surgical Business Director for Middle East & Africa. Due to his management and leadership approach, his territorial responsibility expanded and Majdi was subsequently promoted to EMEA Surgical Business Director for Growth Markets based in Vienna, where he developed and implemented a long-term strategic plan.
Majdi holds a degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
