Ruba received her school diploma from Longfield’s Davidson Heights Secondary School in Ottawa, Canada. Her academic journey started at the University of Ottawa where she studied 2 years of Biopharmaceutical Science. During this period, she had the opportunity to explore various facets of healthcare, gaining invaluable experiences.

Ruba then enrolled in a pharmacy school in London, further advancing her knowledge and skills in the field. She holds a master's degree in pharmacy from the University of King's College London. During her time in university, she gained practical experience through placements in pharmacies and hospitals. She also worked part-time in a retail pharmacy, where she saw the importance of pharmacists in patient care. This experience provided her with first hand insight into the vital role pharmacists play in supporting and assisting patients on their healthcare journeys.

After completing her degree, Ruba started her professional journey as an intern at Mecomed, where she supported various committees. Now, as a Team Coordinator at Mecomed, she continues to support the different committees and plays a crucial role in ensuring projects and events run smoothly. Her journey from university to her current role reflects her dedication to healthcare and Mecomed's mission in the ever-changing healthcare field.
